And the scene that follows that one, where Magnus teaches her about "self pleasuring"... He's a keeper, that's for sure. He has some of Mason's propensity to be a little too honorable, but lucky she's feisty enough to push him over that edge (laughter). Enjoy! One reader noted that she'd read a book where it was behind the scales, kind of in a pouch. I guess he just reaches in there and takes it out when needed (lol). Sounds rather uninspired here, but I'm sure the passage itself is much more exciting. All my merpeople have been female, in terms of intimacy, so I'm probably just as confused and curious. I'd read SoulSong by Marjorie Liu (beautiful book), but it was like one of the werewolf ones where the hero is always in human form for the sex but runs around as a wolf other times. In Judi's second book, I think her merman has a tail, so I'll have to go read to find out how she handles it ;>. Wanda, so nice to have you visit. It is always a treat to see a large group of creative people come up with costumes for a masquerades, or even pajamas for a pajama party. With respect to Carol B's costume, noted above, I swear she looked like one of the Nene Thomas fairy queens in profile when she strolled majestically across the ballroom (I think it's Nene Thomas...so many beautiful fantasy artists out there now).
