The winner of this month’s book-of-your-choice contest from the March newsletter is “Joy I.” I’ve sent her an email directly, but congrats, Joy, and I’ll look forward to hearing what book of mine you’d most like to have!
Hope everyone has a lovely and peaceful Easter, filled with love, friends and family. And lots of chocolate and candy. My favorites are the Cadbury mini-eggs (the speckled ones with a candy shell), and the tiny Brach jelly beans – there’s nothing else like them! I can’t handle the chocolate rabbits; I’m too softhearted to bite off their ears (grin).
Happy bunny day!
Joey
Happy Easter to you and your hubby… and all those fur-babies!!!!!
I hope the bunny brings you all kind of goodies!!! heehee!!!
Congrats to Joy!!!
Congratulations Joy! What a great gift for Easter or just because you love Joey. LOL.
Happy Easter Joey!
Thanks, Cecile and Sandy – same to you and yours!
Yeah Joy I.!!! A Joey book always makes your day, doesn’t it?
Joey, have you seen the cartoon with the two chocolate bunnies, one has a bite out of his derriere and the other has his ears bitten off. The first one says somthing like “this holiday is a pain the butt” and the other one says “What?” Always makes me chuckle. (“food” for thought – what would you do if presented with a chocolate phallus? Hmmm, practice comes to my mind…)
The bad thing is, there ARE chocolate phalluses out there, though I suspect most are not given out for the Easter holiday (chuckle). Now, spring equinox would actually be appropriate, since it keys into fertility, new life, etc. ;>
I have seen that card – love it! Saw a new one this year where the one chocolate bunny is looking at the other, whose ears have been bitten off and he’s saying, “You know, you should really get that looked at. It could get infected.” Grin. Seems like they come out with a new one for those two each year. It would be fun to line them up on a table.
Happy Easter!
I can bite off bunny ears, being chocolate, though since we had a pet rabbit for 10 years I can’t eat cooked rabbit.
Other things made of chocolate — sucking would make it last, but coudl i resist taking a chomp?
Ack! Me either. I’m a vegetarian for one, but for the other, I also had a pet rabbit in college. She was a sweetheart. I can suck on certain types of chocolate, but othertimes I’m like Charlie in Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, when he gets that second bar and tears into it like he’s starving (grin). Thanks, Elizabeth – glad to have you on the blog!
