August Newsletter Contest Winner

And the winner of this month’s book of your choice contest is Selina! Yay, Selina!! Congratulations, girl, and I’ve sent you a direct email to find out which book you’d like.

Hope you all are doing well. I will be either heading to DragonCon this weekend or battening down for Hurricane Earl – we’re waiting to see which way he’ll turn. And of course next weekend, I’ll be at Lora Leigh’s RAW in West Virginia. Theeennnn, the weekend after that, I’ll be at Authors After Dark up in New Jersey. Hope to see some of you at these events!

Also, for those of you particularly interested in Knights of the Board Room, Jon’s story, Afterlife, was turned in today. I’ll keep you posted on a release date, and hope to put an excerpt on the site once I get the thumbs up from my editor. :>

Okay, now I’m really going. Have a great September!

Sounds like your going to be doing a lot of laundry when your finished. Don’t wear yourself out but enjoy all the attention thats going to be coming your way.

  2. Joey W. Hill says:

Maggie, you’re a dear. You gave me a grin because that’s what I’m doing today between other errands – laundry!

  3. Maggie says:

When going on a road trip or coming home ….. first thing you do is laundry!

Have a good time and will look forward to hearing about your adventures when you return.

  4. Terry says:

Really, didn’t “Earl” know how busy you are? LOL Just do what you can, if you want to come inland, let me know! Only take you a couple days to drive here, ha ha.

Vampire Trinity in 7 days!! Already scoping out the stores… hoping.

  5. Joey W. Hill says:

For some reason, the weather gods don’t call me before they set their schedule. It’s really rather rude. Hope VT shows up early for you!!

Thanks for the good wishes, all!

  6. Karen says:

Ok, I feel a real need to duck after I write this, but VT is in for me at my little book store as of today. Of course I can’t go get it until Friday (sooo frustrating) and then only if Earl doesn’t get in my way (what a rude hurricane) but other than that I’ll be on my way first thing for sure! You know what I’ll be doing Friday afternoon and evening, and then I won’t care about Earl at all. Ducking now. (LOL)

  7. Joey W. Hill says:

Don’t believe her – she’s not ducking at all. She’s dancing around, saying “Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah, I have Vampire Trinity” (laughter). And I’m so delighted by all of you and your enthusiasm at getting the various books. It does my heart good! Now, I just have to hope the stories live up to the rejoicing (wink).

  8. Terry says:

Karen, no ducking! You Dance for Joy, ok? I would be!! Enjoy, and tell “Earl” to go fly a kite. You all on the east coast take care!! Be Careful. We’re thinking about all of you and hoping for the best.

  9. Amber says:

I just finished Vampire Mistress and it was amazing! My husband already ordered Vampire Trinity for me so I can’t wait to read it when it’s delivered! <3 Great work!

  10. maria says:

Loved vampire mistress!!!! Just got vampire trinity today and on my half hour break got hooked to it. You’ll love it just like you do the rest of her book!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Joey:-D ;-D

  11. Amber says:

You’re lucky you got it so soon! I’m already fiending for more!

  12. Terry says:

Yay!! Picked up my copy of Vampire Trinity at Borders on Sat! Back in the world of Anwyn, Daegan Rei & Gideon, ahhhhhhhhhh. Gotta go read.

  13. Joey W. Hill says:

So awesome to hear you guys have got the book in hand and so far you’re enjoying it – or anticipating the enjoyment! (grin). Karen, hope things are fine up your coastal way – know that it missed us pretty much completely, though of course we’re pretty okay in our location even in a Cat 3 or midlevel Cat 4 down here. The media dramatizes this stuff so badly you’d think we were all about to die (eye rolling). But thanks for the good thoughts – those are always appreciated, no matter the situation! :>
