I wish this was coming out sooner, but at least we’ll have Vampire Instinct (July 5), Bound by a Vampire Queen (Dec 2011) and Hostile Takeover (maybe late fall) to keep us company until then!
Hostile Takeover! This is Ben’s book? Please please say we won’t have to wait forever for it to come out in (real) book form!

HT, or Hostile Takeover, will be released in ebook first and then will be released in print about 2 to 3 months later. Same as it was with Afterlife, Jon’s book, which proceeded Ben’s. You will have to get it from Ellora Cave first but it will be released via ebook to both Amazon and Barnes and Nobles, again as Jon’s did, shortly after that.
Lisa B., yes, as I noted, HT is Ben’s book!!! Yeah!! As Joey has noted on this site and her blog, he is being paired with Cass’ little sister, Marcie. Cass is married to Lucus, and if you have read their book, there is a part in there where Marcie mentions what she “thinks” of Ben.

Maria, thanks for jumping in there – I was traveling yesterday, and then ran into some email troubles with the blog last night, so I know Maggie and Lisa appreciate getting a response to their comment sooner than later! My only caveat is that I “hope” the HT print version will come out about 2-3 months after the digital version. EC doesn’t ever guarantee a set amount of time between the two versions, but that has been their pattern for the past couple books, so I hope that continues!
And Maryde, my editor will be very smug, because I was VERY dubious about that title. Glad to know it was a good thing to trust her instincts.

Reese, VI comes out this coming week – yea! I’m hoping you’ll find it was worth the wait and, as usual, I’ll gnaw off my fingernails until I hear one way or the other (wink). Ben is coming soon, never fear!
I came home from being at the doctors half of the day with two extra kids bc my two boys wanted to have a sleep over and as soon as they hit the door chaos began. So I walk in to my house to get dinner ready and the husband forgot to take the chicken out of the freezer, day gets even worse, then as I walk to my mailbox in the front of the house to my surprise my book I pre-ordered from barnes and nobles is waiting for me!!!!!!! I now have my copy of vampire instinct, and with this great discovery my day got better. Kids got pizza, I got my peace and quiet and my vampire fix!!!! Only on page 85 but I’m loving it

I tried to get to the EC website the other day and couldn’t get at it anymore. But I was routed to another site that appeared to include all the Ellora content. I wasn’t able to find anything on Hostile Takeover. Is it too early to be seeing anything on it yet at the publishing sites or am I just looking at the wrong places?
I know I still can’t find anything on Bound as an electronic preorder (I’ve checked Amazon, B&N, the Romance site I was at the other day and Berkley Heat – the only preorder available through any of them right now is paperback).
Pat, maybe it was just a technical glitch that day? I just accessed it – I still reference it as http://www.ellorascave.com, but it reroutes to http://www.jasminejade.com/default.aspx?skinid=11. Let me know if either of those don’t work. But don’t worry, you’re not overlooking HT. I haven’t submitted it to the publisher yet, and until it’s submitted/contracted, it doesn’t get on the release schedule or on the site. If it helps, whenever you go to my website, there are three paragraphs on the home page, and the third paragraph takes you to the status of Future Projects section, http://www.storywitch.com/documents/FutureProjectDetail.htm. That will keep you apprised on what’s happening with Ben’s book. And of course you can always email me direct or like this, whatever’s easiest for you!
As far as Bound by the Vampire Queen, I think they do put the pre-order for digital up much later than the print, so that will probably come later on in the fall. I appreciate you checking, though – that flatters me tremendously (smile). Let me know if you need anything further!
Just finished Vampire Instinct and I loved it, it made me cry and laugh. Loved every word of it and all of the surprises in the book. Now I can’t wait til Bound by the vampire queen!! I would also like more of Mal and Elisa please, please, please!!!!!!! Thank you so much for the great read can’t wait til the next book!!

I’ve got ‘Bound by The Vampire Queen on pre-order from Amazon in paperback with a release date of 6th Dec. 2011 and ‘Something about Witches’ on pre-order also from Amazon in paperback with a release date of 7th Feb. 2012, but can’t find anything in the kindle store which is okay as I prefer the paperback version- there’s something soothing about using your hands and fingers to turn……….the pages !!LOL!! Really looking forward to Bens story- it’s been a long time coming!

In your most recent book i actually was disturbed about the 3 way .. thingy and cant imagine any guy like malachi can accept that.Sorry if this is a spoiler for anyone… i was really quite bothered,,,anyhow enjoyed the book..very different..

Mason’s sometimes teacher/friend who taught him the magic of Farida’s tomb and also the mage that may have helped Brian with the third mark serum. SWEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTT! I am looking forward to it.
